Equipment update

As a group, we had been really excited for an establishing shot that was filmed on a drone. We did manage to get a fantastic shot but unfortunately we'd had to change location in order to use it, and it didn't provide the atmosphere that we were after. As a result, we were not able to get a drone shot for our final opening as we had broken it.

As a result we had to use what we hadn't broken, which was everything else.

We used a Canon EOS 600D with a 50mm lens (below left) and a bounce board to balance the light.

In order: Canon EOS 600D, HDR CX220

We did use a camera stand for some shots but then we felt that it was flexible enough for most of our shots. In the end I did most of the camera work and I just used myself to stabilise the camera.

We did have access to a microphone but we felt that the camera picked up the audio in such a way that it suited our film opening just right.
